Through speaking and consultancy, she supports venues, wedding professionals, and industry platforms navigating South Asian and multicultural weddings with greater clarity and confidence. Her perspective is shaped by years of planning complex celebrations, advising peers behind the scenes, and working closely with the realities that arise when tradition, expectation, and delivery meet.
Speaking with Purpose. Consulting with Impact.
Much of LaToya’s work sits at the intersection of couples and families, venues, and the professionals responsible for
delivery. Rather than broad cultural commentary, her expertise is rooted in the lived realities of South Asian and
multicultural weddings, how they function, where challenges arise, and what teams need to understand to support them
well.
When speaking, the emphasis is candid and experience-led. Conversations focus on expectation management, cultural nuance, operational decision-making, and the points where delivery becomes complex. The aim is not theory, but perspective that professionals can apply with clarity and assurance.
Consultancy work is shaped around the practical needs of organisations working within South Asian wedding contexts. This may include supporting internal teams, refining service approaches, troubleshooting delivery challenges, or offering insight into client expectations that are rarely articulated but deeply felt. Increasingly, this also includes advising South Asian wedding specialists as they adapt their offering for more western-influenced and multicultural couples.
Engagements take many forms, including one-to-one consultancy, tailored training, invited talks, and panel discussions. Some work is delivered through The Art of South Asian Weddings, while other engagements are bespoke, shaped around the specific needs of the organisation.
Engagements are tailored to the needs of each organisation, from one-off talks to ongoing advisory support.
This work has included consultancy and training for wedding industry platforms and professionals such as Hitched, Guides
for Brides, Coco Wedding Venues, and Glow Events. The focus has been on helping teams better understand South Asian
weddings, from operational considerations to service delivery and client
communication.
Alongside client work, LaToya serves on the Advisory Board of the UK Wedding Association, contributed to the UK Weddings Taskforce during the pandemic, and has been a judge for The Wedding Industry Awards since 2021.

The Art of South Asian Weddings is an industry-focused training programme created to support venues and professionals working within the South Asian wedding market. The programme offers practical insight into how these celebrations function, the expectations clients bring, and the operational considerations that shape successful delivery.
Sessions are designed to bridge gaps in understanding, addressing areas that teams often find challenging but rarely have the space to explore in depth. The focus is on real scenarios, informed decision-making, and building confidence across all levels of delivery.
Delivered through a combination of structured learning and open discussion, the programme supports professionals in working more effectively, respectfully, and confidently within this space.
